Good Morning Vietnam
Taking a boat from Cambodia to Vietnam was a ton of fun. We’re now in Ho Chi Minh City, or as many of our home boys from back in the day would call it, Saigon.
The city is sweet, and the people here are really nice as well. There is a different feel to this country, as with all the rest, but if feels more organized here. Doesn’t feel as cut throat. The other night was gnarly. I was...
Ransom
So I’ve had a interesting week. In a nut shell, I somehow dropped the ball, and lost my wallet. We arrived at this bar, I paid for the motorcycle ride, and put my wallet away. Not ten minutes later, I realized it wasn’t in my bag. I freaked out. The only saving grace I had was that my passport was at the Vietnamese Embassy being processed. I’m in the streets of Cambodia, and it...
Angkor Wat
Cambodia is kickin’ ass. We spent five days in Siem Reap checking out all the temples. I can’t even begin to describe what they were like. It is absolutely amazing, and one of the best things I have ever seen. It really felt like you were in the Congo, jungle growing on the walls, and pieces of stone on the ground everywhere. It’s incredible to think how they constructed these...
O'Smach
Today is the first day in Cambodia and this country is sweet! The last couple of days in Thailand we’re really nice and relaxing. We spent one day teaching English, and meeting the mother of a monk from San Fran. Teaching English was so much fun. We showed up, and everyone was so curious about us, because we were in some remote little town, and you could tell they weren’t use to seeing...
Chang
This is the experience we have been looking for. We left Bangkok a few days ago, on a night train for Surin, a small town about two hours away from Cambodia. We thought it was going to have beds like the last one, but this was only hope. Instead it was a nine hour ride across the country on a shaky seat. We were the only Westerners on the train as well, but I tell you….it was a killer...

We’re back in Bangkok now, after nearly two weeks in the south. We were only in this city to get some things done, and then we headed to Pucket. The town really sucked, and had to many tourists, so we went to an island called Ko Phi Phi. It was amazing here, and the snorkeling kicked ass. Sadly though, my so called underwater camera leaked, and now my SD card is lost, and the camera...

Kickin’ it on Ko Lanta, a beautiful little island, with amazing beaches. Life is good.
Don't Cry
I have so much to share. Well, I’ll start from the beginning. Mexico was sweet, but soon we were back in San Fran, but only for a day. It was great seeing friends, and restocking on supplies, but soon, I was back on a 747 on my way to Bangkok. This is where the misery started. Adrian and I were taken to the airport, and I kind of dropped the ball a bit. I thought our flight was at 1:05am,...
Born To Run
I’ve had better days. Right now I’m in Bangkok, and I’m not doing so well. I’m sick with something, not sure with what, but it’s something I haven’t felt before. No doubt in my mind it’s from Mexico. I have body aches & pains, very weak, and for some odd reason my mouth hurts to open. I can hardly chew. I’ve had it for a week now, and it...

separate ways
Baja has been extremely great to us, and now it’s time for us to go our separate ways. It’s sad, but the adventure continues. It’s been 10 amazing days, and we’ve seen so much, and eaten even more. We’ve spent the last few days in Rosarito, right on the beach, and the motor home has been killer. Today was a lounge day for us, just cruisin’ the streets, eating...

can't buy
Baja California kick’s ass! So we peaced out of San Quintin a couple of days ago, and were anxious as hell to get back to Ensenada. There was so much more to do, and the food was amazing. We walked down the road and put the thumbs out hoping for the best. We’re standing there in the sun, off the road, and we were all saying to ourselves, “what if we got picked up and got to...
San Quintin Coffee
The coffee here sucks. We went into a small ma & pa shop and ordered coffee. She gave me a cup of hot water, and some nescafe’ powder. Stellar. The coffee was horrible, and there’s no bread in this town. We settled on some bananas, and peanut brittle. After spending hours on the internet, and reading our book, we’ve found out that there is nothing to do in this entire area.

farther south
Tacos, tacos, and more tacos, with some ceviche has been our diet for a few days now. We left Ensenada, and headed south to a small town called Santo Tomas, which is Mexico’s wine country. We got this sweet little motel room, which cost us a whole $7 each, bought some wine, and started bbqin’ some tacos. Probably some of the best tacos we have eaten, and the wine kicked ass. It’s...
the other BC
Things are going well down in this cool Mexican city. We’ve been staying in Ensenada for the last couple of nights, and pretty much have just been kickin’ it. Our first day was long, and spent just trying to stand on our feet. After some deep sleep, yesterday was the first day cruisin’ the streets. It’s not as warm as you might think down here, especially being January. 65...

Down South
Today has been a long, but exciting day so far. I started this trip off, when I left Phoenix, Arizona just last night. The three days I spent in Arizona were super sweet, and so relaxing. I was dropped off at the airport last night, just to find out that my flight had been delayed two hours again. So I passed out on some benches and caught up on some much needed sleep. I arrived into San Fran...
get ready
It has been a long three months, to say the least, working in this God forsaken town. I hate to cut it down so much, but as a traveler, always on the move, conquering new places, and meeting new peeps all the time, when ever I arrive back in the town of Sonoma, I realize there are no more surprises for a while. Nothing ever changes.
I have spent the last month or so living at a Christmas tree...

Working Hella
Alright, so it was depressing at first…you know…the whole road trip being over. I had an unsuccessful mission up North trying to get into “Gardening”, but I’m in the groove now. I’m in Sonoma, California right now(my hometown)and I’m working my ass off for three months. Right now I’m doing some painting, and soon I’ll be landscaping. Just two...

Dead End
Well, several days ago, we took off from Washington, and went back to Vancouver, BC. It was so much fun. Right before we’re about to get to the border, we realize that our passports are wet from the rain last night. How they got wet, we’re not sure. They were in the glove compartment, but it is a 37yr. old car. We thought that the immigration officer would give us shit big time. I...
Back to BC
Camping in the Teepee was hella fun, and cozy. We thought we would be going to Portland, Oregon today. But we talked with our German bro last night, and he’s flying into Vancouver today with our other buddy. Realizing that this will never happen again, we have to go back. We’re going to kick it for a night or two, and then manic out and drive to Portland.
Vancouver
So after chillin’ on the San Juan Islands, and cruisin’ through Chicktoria we decided to hit up Vancouver. I mean, after all it’s been voted #1 most livable city in the world. I paid $85 for us to rot in a ferry parking lot for 6hrs. and to float our way for two hours to this sweet city.
So we thought we’d cruise into downtown and get a place. It was impossible. The only...
Canada
Everything is stellar. We have moved across the North, through Wyoming, and Montana. We hit up both Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone. The scenery is just jaw-dropping. Washington has been one of my favorite states. Everyone is nice, and it is just like Northern California, but a hell of a lot less crowded. We put the car on a ferry and headed to the San Juan Islands, just off the coast of...

Joel: Do you understand the word efficiency?
Wes: Yeah, it means while I sit here, you go get me another mother f&@king water.
Wyoming
We’ve cruised through North and South Dakota for a few days now and finally reached Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse in the black hills. It’s been beautiful. Yesterday we hit up the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. It was gnarly and hella fun. Today we’re headed to Yellowstone.
Two more weeks.
High & Wide
The clouds are most beautiful in Minnesota, and the land most scenic in South Dakota.
The North
We finally made it out of Chicago, and drove to Wisconsin and camped for free. Had to eat some cheese. Yesterday we hit Minnesota and finally got pulled over by a cop. Good one Wes. Today we’re going to go meet the Presidents at Rushmore.
Minor car trouble.
