We’re back in Bangkok now, after nearly two weeks in the south. We were only in this city to get some things done, and then we headed to Pucket. The town really sucked, and had to many tourists, so we went to an island called Ko Phi Phi. It was amazing here, and the snorkeling kicked ass. Sadly though, my so called underwater camera leaked, and now my SD card is lost, and the camera won’t even work. Don’t by a Fujifilm. So, no more pictures for a while.
We then headed to Ko Lanta, and this was the best place so far. The pain in my mouth had nearly disappeared by now, and we got a place right on this picture perfect beach, for only $7 each. Food was cheaper, and the island was less crowded. We spent four days on this island, and had the best time so far. Renting motorcycles was definitely a blast. Trang was the next stop, but only to catch a train straight back to Bangkok. We’re over long bus trips, and the train was killer. So comfortable, and quite the experience. I felt like we were in a 50’s flick.
It was a long 15 hour journey, but now we’re back in Bangkok, and today we jump on another train to head over to Surin. We only came back so I could get the stitches out of my mouth, and to pick up a few supplies. It was also nice getting another foot & let massage last night too. One hour for only $6. Everyone is doing good, except Adrian has a bit of a stomach probably, but nothing a few antibiotics won’t fix. Surin is supposed to be an old city with walls around it, and you can ride elephants through the jungle. Pretty stoked about that.
We’ll only be in Thailand for another few days, and then we’re cruisin’ into Cambodia for a good while. I’m really excited about this next country, because it’s supposed to be much more raw, and much cheaper. More beautiful beaches as well.
Peace out Bangkok.
